Material Handler

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Material Handler to join their client's team in California. This role involves managing warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting production lines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Materials Management

  • Receiving & Shipping: Execute physical unloading of shipments, verify piece counts against packing slips, and process receipts within the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
  • Inventory Control: Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counting and organized storage.
  • Kitting: Pick and deliver materials to cleanrooms or production lines based on Work Orders, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Safety: Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely and maintain a clean, organized warehouse (5S).

Incoming Acceptance Activities

  • Visual & Dimensional Inspection: Perform inspections on incoming components using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate Quality Records and ensure all "Certificates of Conformance" (CoC) or "Certificates of Analysis" (CoA) are present and valid.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Identify defective materials, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and physically segregate "Quarantine" stock to prevent unintended use.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities align with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company.

Requirements:

Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Competitive salary with a pay range from $20 to $25 per hour.
